To celebrate Open Access Week the LACUNY Scholarly Communications Roundtable is hosting an event on Digital Scholarship and the Public Good.
Join CUNY Librarians and Faculty for a talk by guest speakers, Polly Thistlethwaite and Jesse Daniels, CUNY faculty and authors of Being a Scholar in the Digital Era: Transforming Scholarly Practices for the Public Good (Policy Press, 2016). The talk will be followed by a lively open discussion about scholarly practices, digital publics, activism, and the ethics of sharing. Refreshments will be served.
