Faculty Development and Diversity Launch Event

On Wednesday, October 25, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, you are invited to  join the Provost’s Office and the Office of the Dean for Diversity and Compliance as Hunter officially launches its institutional membership with the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity. Lunch will be served in the Faculty Dining Room (Hunter West, 8th floor) as we discuss and demonstrate the new resources that are now available to all of our faculty.

Learn about building a publishing pipeline, developing productive relationships with research and writing partners, writing winning grant proposals, preparing a dossier for promotion and tenure, planning a stress-free semester, and more.

At Wednesday’s event, Hunter colleagues will share how they effectively used the Center’s resources to finalize a book proposal, draft a new research agenda, and revise their teaching plans. You’ll be able to sign-up for a new 14-day writing challenge and learn about upcoming opportunities to garner more support for your research and teaching.

Space is limited and lunch will be served, so please reserve your seat by registering no later than Monday, October 23: http://tinyurl.com/hunter-ncfdd-launch
