What are some creative ways to prepare students to start college? The Percy Ellis Sutton Search for Education, Elevation and Knowledge (SEEK) program is a higher education opportunity program offered in CUNY’s senior colleges. One component of SEEK’s program is a Summer Bridge for entering students. Hunter librarians recently developed a new curriculum for this program, in which comic books were used to introduce students to the process of asking college-level research questions. Come learn more about this curriculum and see examples of the work that students produced. You’ll also find out about other ways the SEEK Summer Bridge prepares incoming freshman for their academic careers.
