Day of Digped logo squareThe keynote address for ACERT’s Day of Digital Pedagogy event, a celebration of faculty and students’ innovative use of digital technology in the classroom, will feature Jack Dougherty (Professor of Educational Studies, Trinity College). Jack is author of the award-winning More Than One Struggle: The Evolution of School Reform in Milwaukee (University of North Carolina Press, 2004) and has co-written and co-edited several influential open-access volumes on digital humanities scholarship and pedagogy.

His talk, “Web Writing and Data Visualization in Liberal Arts Pedagogy,” will feature work from his most recent open-access volume, Web Writing: Why and How for Liberal Arts Teaching and Learning (University of Michigan Press, 2015), and his newest work-in-progress, Data Visualization for All.

The talk will be followed by a wine and cheese reception.
