Research has documented the great physical, psychological, and social benefits of practicing mindfulness, which involves paying careful attention to your thoughts, feelings, and environment. In recent years, many schools have embraced mindfulness as a way to improve students’ attention, emotion regulation, and learning. In this session, we will explore how our selves/bodies/emotions are engaged in and through our teaching practice. Our four presenters will focus on the embodied learning experience of mindful practice in higher education teaching.
