Have you discovered “Hunter VT” in your Blackboard courses yet? VoiceThread is a powerful presentation and discussion tool useful for flipped, hybrid and online courses. It allows instructors and students to upload slides, documents and videos and then add annotate them in text, audio and video format. Professors at Hunter have used it to record mini-lectures, to break the ice in online courses and to allow students to present their research.
Join us for an online workshop led by George Haines, VoiceThread’s instructional designer. George will show us how to create VoiceThread assignments in our Blackboard environment. He will also share examples of VoiceThread used in engaging, student-centered assignments from a variety of disciplines and instructional modalities. If you and your students have “discussion board fatigue,” this workshop is for you!
