When: February 27, 2018, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Where: Location online (register for details)

Presenter(s): Deepa Rao-Sisario

Blackboard has a built-in Grade Center to help you post and track grades/feedback for each student throughout the semester. When used consistently, the Grade Center, which is linked directly to the student’s My Grades view, helps students keep track of their past and upcoming work. Access to their grades and ongoing, timely feedback can also help motivate them to stay focused and take responsibility for their own learning.
In this session, you will get a tour of the Grade Center and you will learn how to:
  • link assignments/discussions, etc.
  • add/edit/manage columns,
  • add/edit grades and feedback
  • download the Grade Center
You will also get a brief tour of My Grades, the student view, so that you can advise students on where to look to retrieve grades and feedback.
There’s so much more to the Grade Center than the items listed above. The session will close by providing you will resources available on campus to guide you, not only through the set-up process, but also in identifying as many opportunities as possible to provide feedback to your students.
