What do you do on the last day of classes to wrap up the semester? Give students their final exam? Treat them to pizza and wish them good holidays? The last day of classes can be a unique opportunity to revisit learning outcomes, reflect on accomplishments, and provide closure.

We’ve invited several Hunter professors to talk about ways in which they help students in face-to-face and online classes to reflect on what they have learned and pass along some of the insights gained to future students. They have used portfolios, students’ writing done at the beginning and end of the semester, discussion boards, VoiceThreads, exit slips and wisdom walls. Come to hear about their strategies and share your ideas about how you conclude the semester.
