ACERT Summer Teaching Institute

ACERT’s Summer Teaching Institute is a foundational hub where instructors can build inclusive learning experiences for students using strategies that also lower the risk of teacher burnout. We emphasize immediately applicable instruction models and syllabus design geared toward early career faculty, clinical faculty, lecturers, part-time faculty, and graduate teaching fellows. Participants will leave with practical foundations for teaching so they can implement teaching strategies based on learning science that make undergraduate or graduate college teaching more effective and a richly gratifying experience. We will meet in person in the Charlotte K. Frank Room E1203 on Friday August 21 from 9am-5pm. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
