CUNY’s new online repository, Academic Works, “is dedicated to collecting and providing public access to the scholarly and creative work of the City University of New York.” But what exactly does this mean? And what does it mean for you? Come learn about CUNY Academic Works and how it can help you increase the impact of your research and teaching. CUNY Scholarly Communications Librarian, Megan Wacha, will provide an overview of CUNY Academic Works, as well as review the fundamentals of copyright, publication agreements, and open access. Hunter College Libraries’ Associate Dean and Chief Librarian, Dan Cherubin, will discuss a pilot project making master’s theses publicly accessible.
