This workshop has been postponed until further notice.

A digital portfolio or professional website offers an opportunity to narrate the story of your research and teaching, and to create an online presence beyond your department page. This workshop is aimed at all teachers and scholars wanting to develop a free online portfolio in two sessions. After looking at several existing portfolios online, we will step by step build our own professional websites using the CUNY Academic Commons. Hunter’s own educational technology team will be available to assist you with any issues that may arise in customizing your site. By the end of the workshop you will have finished your own portfolio, and have gained the basic skills to create websites on the Commons.

Bring your own laptop, or let us know if you need us to reserve a laptop for you. Ideally, you have started to collect the materials (CV, PDFs of your work, images, links, etc.) you want to include on your website before our first session.

Workshop Dates:

  • Friday, March 20 from 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm
