How we do our jobs as researchers, writers, and teachers continues to change. While new digital technologies and online resources offer a great many more options, the current landscape can be daunting and confusing. In this lunchtime seminar, we will hear from Anne Donlon who will discuss open access and the future of faculty publications and collaborations. Next, Jennifer Samson will present resources found on the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD) and ways in which faculty can use the NCFDD programs to collaborate. Sarah Chinn will then discuss her work as an editor for the journal Radical Teacher and their decision to move from a print to a web-based, open-access format. Finally, Mason Brown will introduce the web platform CUNY Academic Works that allows researchers an open-access space to publish and promote their work to a wide audience.
