PeerMark is a tool within Turnitin that allows instructors to set up peer-reviewed writing assignments. Students can evaluate their classmates’ papers as well as their own. Instructors can decide how the peer-sharing is arranged and provide a set of guidelines for the reviews.
Students can benefit from peer review activities by:
- strengthening their writing after taking into account the feedback of their readers;
- transitioning from writing for an instructor to writing for a broader audience;
- formulating and communicating constructive feedback on a peer’s work;
- gathering and responding to feedback on their own work.
Join us online for a demonstration of how to create and manage PeerMark assignments. We will show you how it looks and works from both the instructor and the student perspectives.
