What happens to the time-honored tradition of scribbling in the margins when texts migrate from the page to the screen? In this presentation, two faculty members will discuss their use of various platforms to mark up digital documents for, and with, students. In addition to learning about new platforms, like Skim and hypothes.is, participants will think together about how fundamental aspects of note-taking and lecturing are changing alongside changes in new media.
