The digital future of academic research and writing

When: March 4, 2016, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Presenter(s): Dennis Paoli (WAC Program Co-coordinator)

Note: This TSC involves a series of four meetings, and faculty are strongly encouraged to attend all meetings. Meetings will be held on Fridays, March 4, March 18, April 8, and May 15, 10 am – 12 pm.

The Teaching Scholarship Circle (TSC) on The Digital Future of Academic Research and Writing, hosted by the Hunter Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Program and ACERT, will take place on Fridays, 10 a.m. to noon, starting next week, March 4th, and continuing on March 18th, April 8th, and April 15th.

Faculty who have successfully used online platforms, digital formats, or multi-media in their courses will present their pedagogical models at each of the four sessions. They will share their, and often their students’, work, and their development models; we can all learn from their learning curves, and admire their creativity.

We’ll also look at some of the scholarship in the field, in anticipation of ACERT’s upcoming Day of Digital Pedagogy in May.
