Camp Flexible By Design

When: July 26, 2021

Presenter(s):

After a challenging year of remote learning, we can all appreciate the ability to be flexible and pivot quickly. Do you need new ideas or strategies for your in-person or online class sessions? Are you ready to learn or get a refresher on a tech tool? Join us for a three-day camp on designing a course that builds on your existing materials and can be changed to a different modality (in-person or online) when the need arises. Like in previous module-making camps, there will be a mixture of presentations, time for individualized support and hands-on work with tools such as Padlet, Hypothes.is, and SnagIt.

Participants will plan changes, design new activities, create course materials, or set up their Blackboard Grade Center. During the last session, participants will share their work and get feedback from colleagues. We ask that you commit to three days of camp and complete the plan of a flexible week for a course that you will be teaching.
