When: June 1, 2015, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Where: TRC Lab, 402 TH
Presenter(s): Shiao-Chuan Kung (TTLG) and Nancy Guerrero (TTLG)
Participate in a “Guided Exploration” working session series on building or refreshing your hybrid and online courses the first week of June.
Explore strategies and tools that will help you organize and design your courses, utilizing a range of technologies to support your teaching goals. Identify one aspect of your course that you wish to improve and work with instructional designers and peers to refresh an activity, rethink student assessment or select new technology or any other considerations.
The series will take place on four consecutive days, June 1-4, 2015, 10 am – 4 pm with breakfast and lunch provided. Sessions have presentations in the morning by experienced faculty, librarians, our educational technologist, and time in the afternoon to work on your course or consult with a facilitator. All participants are expected to showcase at least one completed module or one aspect of a course redesign. We know that it takes more than four days to fully develop or refresh an online course but we hope that the series can give you a jump start.
To enroll, please complete this form no later than May 26. If you have questions about these series, please email Shiao-Chuan Kung at skung@hunter.cuny.edu.
