Peer-to-peer teaching can be an effective way to enhance student learning outside the classroom and support the student experience more generally. At Hunter, many departments and programs engage students in peer tutoring and leadership programs. Caitlin Ho from HCAP will discuss the development of the HCAP Leaders Program and Christina Medina-Ramirez, Director of the Skirball Science Learning Center will talk about the ways peer tutors are used in the learning center.
