How we do our jobs as scholars is changing. Digital technologies change how we collaborate, how and where we publish, and how we share our research once it is published. While digital technologies offer a great many more options for scholars, the current landscape can be daunting and confusing. What precisely can new technologies mean for being a scholar? Â In this workshop, Jessie Daniels (Sociology – Hunter and The Graduate Center) and Polly Thistlethwaite (Chief Librarian, The Graduate Center) offer practical advice about collaboration, how to navigate publishing and negotiate for your rights, measuring your impact and the best practices for sharing scholarly work.
