Traditionally, if we think of copyright at all, we think of restrictions — and if and how we can “get around them.” But it doesn’t have to be that way. In this open discussion, we will introduce a new approach to Fair Use. We will also discuss new tools like Creative Commons licenses and open access journals. Together, these applications help to make finding and transforming materials for teaching, research and other scholarly communications easier and more exciting. These are only starting points; we will follow you and go where the discussion takes us.
