Are you ready for the upcoming semester? Does your course include ways to introduce your students to your content? In this 1-day condensed version of Week Zero camp, we will introduce faculty to the art of creating an orientation module for their courses. With these “week-zero” materials and activities, students can learn course information or begin to introduce themselves to each other and the instructor before the first day of class. We will explore tools such as VoiceThread and Padlet and learn to prepare students for hybrid/online courses, record a welcome video, design ice-break activities, and create plans to communicate and interact with students. Whether you’re new to the orientation module or need a refresher, this camp is for you.
