At the invitation of the Provost’s Office, adjunct faculty are warmly invited to join this special virtual event focused on key initiatives shaping teaching and learning at Hunter College. This session offers an opportunity to connect with colleagues, deepen your understanding of institutional priorities, and engage with resources that support your work in the classroom.
The event will include a series of focused presentations:
- Middle States Accreditation (30 minutes) – An overview of Hunter’s ongoing accreditation work and what it means for faculty, led by Dean Erica Chito-Childs and Professor Tom DeGloma, Co-Chairs, Hunter College Middle States Steering Committee
- Accessibility (30 minutes) – Practical guidance and strategies for creating accessible and inclusive learning environments, presented by Shiao-Chuan Kung, Executive Director, Center for Digital Learning & Innovative Pedagogy
- Constructive Dialogue Institute (15 minutes) – An introduction to the Constructive Dialogue Institute and its role in fostering meaningful dialogue and belonging in our academic community, presented by ACERT, the Academic Center for Excellence in Research & Teaching at Hunter College
