Incorporating undergraduates into faculty research, scholarship, and creative work

This event will highlight the ways in which faculty across the disciplines can incorporate undergraduates into their research and scholarship activities outside the classroom. Rachel Verni (Director of Undergraduate Research) will give a brief presentation on the benefits of faculty-student research collaboration and Hunter’s Undergraduate Research Initiative  as a source of support. Then a faculty panel — Mandë Holford (Chemistry), Paul McPherron (English), Mariann Weierich (Psychology), and Lisa Marie Anderson (German) — will share the ways they have collaborated with students on their work, the challenges they have faced, and the results they have seen.
