Brightspace and Blackboard both do fundamentally the same thing, but there are some important differences to keep in mind when working with your former Blackboard course sites in Brightspace. In this workshop, we will show you what elements of your Blackboard course site will be copied to Brightspace and where they will appear, explain the differences in course layout and design between the two platforms, and highlight the new tools in Brightspace that will replace some of the most commonly used tools in Blackboard, including Tests, Assignments, Groups, and Discussions.
