CompComm, the CUNY Graduate Center Composition and Rhetoric Community (formerly the GCCRC ) brings together students, teachers, and scholars interested in composition and rhetoric from across CUNY.  They’re hosting a speaker/discussion series this term that may be of interest to all of us who teach writing at Hunter.

Highlights include a lecture by Patricia Dunn (Stony Brook University), who will talk about her recent work on multiple literacies on April 20th, and a lecture by Amy Wan (Queens College) on the “transnational turn” in composition on May 4th.

Events are held at the Graduate Center on select Mondays at 6:30PM in room 5409.
