ACERT invites applications for Faculty Fellows for the 2025-2026 academic year. Faculty Fellows work with ACERT in various ways, depending on their particular expertise and inclination. Full-time faculty receive a three-credit course release during the Spring semester, subject to approval of their department chair. Part-time faculty will be paid in NTA hours.
Faculty Fellows’ work with ACERT will include:
- Serving on the Steering Committee, which meets regularly to plan ACERT programs and events.
- Serving on the Advisory Board, which meets at least once a year to discuss the broad mission, initiatives, and programming of ACERT.
- Developing and leading a multi-session workshop or seminar (a Teaching Scholarship Circle or Guided Exploration) and creating resources on a specific topic related to teaching and learning and/or research.
- Presenting at and/or organizing Lunchtime Seminars.
- Contributing occasional posts to the ACERT website.
- Attending ACERT events and encouraging peer participation.
- Providing a brief summary of one’s activities as Fellow at the end of the year.
