ACERT Launches New Faculty Professional Development Badge Program with Provost Pardasani and Dean Tuten

ACERT, with the support of the Provost’s Office, is proud to announce a new, 4-tiered professional development badging system (Explorer; Practitioner; Facilitator; Ambassador), focused on teaching, research, and scholarship. The badges are suitable for inclusion on CV/resumes under “Professional Development,” on LinkedIn, below email signatures, and for sharing with Chairs and/or Directors. With Provost Manoj Pardasani and Dean Jenny Tuten, we launch our first three badge programs: Active Learning and Student Engagement; Culturally Responsive Pedagogy; and our Public Engagement badge. Provost Pardasani will introduce this new initiative, followed by a conversation with Dean Tuten about publicly engaged scholarship and teaching at Hunter College.
