Capstone projects, generally the culmination of a student’s work in his/her field of study, can increase student engagement and deepen their mastery of a given discipline. Both integrative and student-driven, capstones help students build credentials and, in many cases, give them a taste of what professional life might look like in their field. These projects can also provide valuable work samples to use as students apply for jobs. In this session, four Hunter faculty members will discuss how capstone projects have impacted their students.
