Module making magic!

When: January 5, 2015
Where: Register for location

Presenter(s): Laura Baecher (Curriculum and Teaching), Shiao-Chuan Kung (ICIT), and Nancy Guerrero (ICIT)

We will work intensively to support you as you create and complete one online module for a course you will be teaching in Spring, Summer or Fall 2015!

This Guided Exploration will employ an innovative, faculty-friendly format to make it easier for you to both participate and get results. Based on faculty feedback from prior sessions, we will require you to commit to producing an online module for a course you will be teaching while not requiring your presence on campus during the Winter break for the entire session series. See below for our faculty-responsive schedule:

Monday, January 5th 9:00-2:00
On campus intensive support with “stations” to pick and choose from the supports YOU need for your course-from Blackboard design to Wikis. You will be able to select which topics/tools are most relevant for you and have time to “rotate” through 4 stations.

Tuesday, January 6th and Wednesday, January 7th
Virtual or on campus individualized consultations between 9:00-2:00 to motivate you to work through completion of your online module. You can choose to come to campus to workshop or do so remotely.

Thursday, January 8th, 1:00-3:00
Present your module and gain further insights into improving it prior to launching it!

To enroll, please fill out this form before December 22, 2014.
