VoiceThread is an online communication and collaboration tool that can facilitate activities such as discussions around images, videos or documents, peer reviews, and presentations of content. This tool was recently integrated into Hunter’s Blackboard course management system. Three professors who have used it in different contexts and for different purposes will share their experiences. Lina Newton used VoiceThread to create short lecture presentations. Kathryn Narramore asked students to practice reciting Shakespeare verses. Diane Berman designed a group activity where students presented book reviews.

A follow-up, hands-on workshop is scheduled for Friday, October 17, 10 am – 12 pm in the Technology Resource Center, TH 402.
