A digital portfolio or professional website offers an opportunity to share your research and teaching with a larger audience, and to create an online presence beyond your department page. Join us on Tue 1/9, Wed 1/10, and Thu 1/11 2024 for a hands-on workshop to develop your own free professional portfolio using the CUNY Academic Commons.

After looking at existing e-portfolios, we will spend our three days together building our own! There will be a mixture of brief presentations and guided tutorials, and plenty of time for portfolio building and individualized support. Educational technologists will be available to help while you build your pages, add images, and embed links to your brand new professional website. During the final session, everyone will briefly share their e-portfolios and receive feedback from their colleagues.

The optional times of camp are meant to be hours set aside for participants to work on their personal portfolios. During those times, staff will be available online to provide tech support, answer questions and offer feedback.
