ACERT invites Hunter faculty to submit proposals for Faculty Innovations in Teaching and Technology (FITT) 2016. FITT is a competitive program for faculty seeking to enhance student learning in innovative ways. FITT awardees undertake creative pedagogical experiments and explore emerging technologies within a vibrant community committed to sharing experiences and expertise. FITT fosters a culture of reflection and encourages faculty to contribute to the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Full-time faculty from all schools at Hunter and adjunct faculty who have taught at Hunter for at least three years are eligible to submit a proposal. Faculty whose projects are selected receive a $2000 stipend, paid upon successful completion of the project, and assistance conceptualizing, developing, implementing, and assessing their project. FITT awardees plan their projects and participate in FITT events throughout the summer, culminating in an end-of-summer event to celebrate the launch of their innovations.
