Topic: How AFPRL Uses Qualtrics to Simplify Assessment Data Collection

Dr. Torres will discuss efforts in the Department of Africana, Puerto Rican, and Latino Studies (AFPRL) to collect assessment data from the faculty. Working with the faculty, she has developed Qualtrics surveys for both program learning outcomes (PLO) assessment and general education assessment, to facilitate data input and retrieval for the annual reports. The data can also be transferred to Excel spreadsheets to allow for longitudinal reviews and analyses. Dr. Torres will also describe how AFPRL’s assessment in World Cultures and Global Issues has been used to recommend and implement improvements in the two courses assessed.
