Lunchtime Seminar: Finishing Strong: Activities for the Last Day of Class’s

What do you do on the last day of classes to wrap up the semester? Share a pizza with your students and regale each other with funny anecdotes from the past semester? Unfortunately, we often are too tired by the end of the semester to do more than ask students to complete evaluations and show up for the final exam. The last day of classes, however, can be a unique opportunity to revisit learning outcomes, reflect on accomplishments, and process the information covered throughout the course. For our final lunchtime seminar of the spring series, we will talk about ways in which they help students in face-to-face and online classes to reflect on what they have learned. Presentations will be made by ACERT Steering Committee members and anyone who wants to volunteer to share ideas about how best to conclude the semester and finish strong.
