Advance Student Success Through Career-Connected Learning

Looking for new ways to engage and motivate students, strengthen their world readiness, and connect classroom learning to real-world application? This year, the Office of Career Success is offering several exciting Career-Connected Learning opportunities for faculty designed to help you integrate career development into the student experience. 

Join Us for the Faculty Career Fellowship Launch 

Learn how you can bring Career-Connected Learning into your courses and support students’ career development at the Faculty Career Fellowship Launch Event. 

Date: September 29
Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: East 215 

The session will introduce the Career-Connected Learning framework, provide an overview of the Faculty Career Fellowship, and highlight opportunities for faculty to become involved in career-focused teaching and learning initiatives across campus.

Become a Faculty Career Fellow 

The Faculty Career Fellowship provides funding, professional development, and a community of practice for faculty interested in embedding career-connected learning into their courses and programs. Fellows receive support to develop innovative projects that help students identify, articulate, and apply the skills they gain through their academic experiences. 

New participants are encouraged to apply.

Bring New Ideas to Life with a Curriculum Innovation Grant 

The Curriculum Innovation Grant supports faculty who want to either propose to create new courses or to update their existing courses to better prepare students for landing internships and jobs in the field.
