ACERT’s weekly writing groups return!

ACERT’s Writing Groups afford you a chance to put dedicated writing time on your fall calendar, with the benefits of accountability and community support. All faculty, including those writing dissertations, and staff are welcome to join one or more writing groups.

In Fall 2025, we’re offering four meeting times:

• Mondays @ 2-4PM (in person) – led by Raj Korpan

• Tuesdays @ 1-3 PM (in person) – led by Jillian Baez

• Wednesday @ 10:30am-12pm (online) – led by Austin Bailey

• Friday 9-10:30 AM (online) – led by Gina Riley

Our writing groups start meeting the week of September 8. The first meeting will include a little time for planning out writing goals for the semester before you dive into shared writing time.

In person groups meet in the Faculty Center (E540) on the 5th Floor of the Cooperman Library at the 68th Street campus.
