Hunter College AANAPISI Project (HCAP) 2017 Fall Kickoff Event

The HCAP Faculty and Staff invites you to the Hunter College AANAPISI Project (HCAP) 2017 Fall Kickoff Event!

HCAP is funded by the U.S. Department of Education for the next four years to help support Asian American and Pacific Islander students at Hunter College through their college experience.

More than 30% of Hunter College students are Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI), and many of them face challenges because they are the first in their family to go to college, come from families with limited financial resources, or may have limited English proficiency. We invite you to learn more about new services provided for the AAPI community at Hunter College.  Faculty, staff, and students are all welcome!

During this informal session, you will learn about:

  • The AAPI community at Hunter College & in New York City
  • On and off campus resources for mental health services
  • New curriculum development and classes offered at Hunter College geared toward multilingual students

Please join us on September 6th, Wednesday, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the Hunter West 8th Floor Faculty Lounge to learn about how you can further support Hunter College students. Simply RSVP by September 5th.

Light lunch will be provided!
